Skinwalkers,
We want to offer our sincere apologies for using your music in one of our recent videos on the They Took My Skin channel without your permission. This was a mistake on our part, and we completely understand the importance of respecting artists’ rights and creative work. We’ve since removed the music and re-uploaded the video without it.
We’re genuinely sorry for this oversight and the disrespect it may have caused. Your work deserves proper credit, appreciation, and licensing—none of which we handled correctly. That’s on us.
To our fans: we also apologize for the re-upload and the inconvenience of having to rewatch our video (yes, that video—the one you all lovingly called “hot trash” in the comments). We get it. It wasn’t exactly cinematic gold to begin with, and now it’s missing the one part that actually slapped: Apache’s track.
We’re working on being better. This means respecting artists’ rights, improving our content, and not forcing you to watch the same garbage twice (unless you’re into that sort of thing).
Thanks for sticking with us. And Apache, thank you for your music—we’re sorry for using it the wrong way. Smooches.
Sincerely,
Justin, Editor,
They Took My Skin
