APRIL 25′: Chicken Jockey!

Goooood morning, TTMS fans!

“Monthly post: release!” – Steve Minecraft in the movie or something, idk.

Minecraft Movie

This past month we saw the Minecraft movie. I went in with low expectations, since I was a big advocate for the movie to be animated and not… well, live action/CGI like it ended up being. I had heard some people were throwing popcorn and shooting off fireworks at a certain point (see the video below)!

However, I was blindsided in enjoying the movie. The songs Jack Black sang (my guess are they were improved, just like Peaches) were funky, funny, and fresh. There was no popcorn throwing, just clapping and cheering when Jack Black said something point-blank (flint and STEEL!, the NETHER!, CHICKEN JOCKEY!), and I found myself immersed in this blocky but derpy-looking world.

Overall, 9/10 would recommend.

Minecraft Short Explodes like a Creeper!

Once we saw the movie, we filmed a short outside of a burger king where I (dressed as Steve) unbox a McDonalds meal and throw the “worst toy” at the floor. That video BLEW UP (like a creeper!) with a current 3.2k views. Check it out below:

Summer Weather Incoming

The Tri-state area is starting to experience warmer and warmer weather, so we’ll be pumping out more outdoor-based videos mighty soon! We’re tossing around some cool ideas, so be sure to subscribe to us (if you aren’t already)!

A BIG Update from the TTMS Crew!

Our last update is CERTAINLY not our least!

The TTMS crew is going to start streaming videogames, including but not limited to:

We’ll be on the same channel (Youtube.com/@TheyTookMySkin) and we’ll be streaming Friday at 8 PM EST and/or Saturdays around 4 PM EST. We will have our schedule in the Discord server (Discord.gg/vJseErUeYu) updated frequently! We will also update “TookMySkin.com/gaming” when we can!
